Cut the top off the pomegranate
Carve four slits down the skin
Submerge the pomegranate in a bowl of water and break it into quarters
Use your fingers to remove the seeds from the peel and membranes
The seeds will sink and the pith will float
Remove the pith
Drain the water and any access pill with your fingers
Store in freezer ziploc bags and store in the freezer
Take out thaw and use to garnish your favorite Levantine recipes of mine and/or beverage of your choice
