Honey Rosemary Halloumi

INGREDIENTS

1 block of halloumi cheese

2 TBSP honey

1 spring fresh rosemary

Preheat oven to 375°

Slice the block of halloumi cheese in half and place in a large cast iron skillet or a pan that’s oven safe. You can also use a baking tray with edges.

Pre-heat oven with the skillet of choice inside to warm. Once oven is at the pre-heated temperature, carefully remove the warmed pan out of the oven and add sliced halloumi to it. Place back into the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Feel free to increase temperature to a broil for a few extra minutes to roast the top of the cheese to a golden brown color.

Remove from oven and plate up on serving dish of your choice. Drizzle with the honey and sprinkle with rosemary springs.

Serve on a charcuterie board with naan crackers and/or fresh pita.
